60 kilometers from Tamworth's Central Business District, is the quaint and thriving little village of Nundle. This pretty town is surrounded by undulating hills and streets lined with trees. Many visitors come to Nundle to fossick or pan for gold and sapphires in the Peel River.

You can hire panning equipment at the Mt Misery Mine or the Nundle Country Cafe.
