Split Point Lighthouse was the famous setting for the popular television series Round the Twist. The views from the Split Point Lighthouse in Aireys Inlet are simply breathtaking. You will spot the lighthouse as you travel the Great Ocean Road.

The Split Point Lighthouse was built in 1891. The lighthouse still shines her guiding light every evening to keep ships passing safely on their way to and from Port Phillip Bay, off the rocky shores.

A tour guide will greet you at the door and provide interesting information about the history of the lighthouse.

You can then make your way up the cast iron spiral staircase, to the top of the lighthouse in your own time. You will make your way through the lantern room and out onto the balcony to enjoy a birds eye view of the dramatic coastline.

Children must be 5 years and over to take a tour and should be able to climb the stairs.
An adult must accompany all children under age 10.
Infants can be carried in a baby sling.
Wear suitable footwear to ensure you make it up the spiral staircase without issue.
Always stay on the marked tracks where possible. Never climb fences, they are there for your own safety.
