Queensland is full of bucket list worthy places to explore. The state’s capital city Brisbane is in the south-east and is surrounded by the beautiful beaches of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Queensland is also home to the world’s largest coral reef system – the Great Barrier Reef, which stretches along the majority of the state’s eastern coastline. The weather in Queensland varies from tropical, seasonal weather in the states north to perfect sub-tropical weather year-round in the states south-east. Outback Queensland can be dry and hot in the summer months, and very cool in the winter months.
