The estate is a transformation of the old Donnelly River Wines into a contemporary winery and gourmet picnic venue with an expansion of the existing infrastructure to include three luxury accommodation sites, two wedding venues, and a gin and vodka lounge. Ampersand’s name comes from the character “&.” Essentially, it’s the symbol for “and.” And the estate very much embodies the spirit of “and”.
