Cahill's Crossing
Highlights
Cahill's Crossing is a great place to see crocodiles in their natural habitat in the wild, located a the crossing between Kakadu and Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory Australia. During the dry season the platform at the river-crossing from Kakadu into Arnhem Land is a fantastic and popular place to watch crocodiles in action.
The best time to see them here is at high tide. A tide over six metres pushes up over the crossing, bringing bait fish like mullet and barramundi, and the crocs move downstream to wait for these treats. It’s an amazing sight that shouldn’t be missed!

So cool!
Arrive just before the high tide to watch the water spill over the causeway bringing the fish straight into the mouths of hungry crocodiles!
