Carr’s Lookout is a must-see bucket list attraction when exploring the attractions of the Southern Downs, including Queen Mary Falls and Daggs Falls, in Southern Queensland. Carr’s Lookout is located on Spring Creek Road, approximately 8km north east of Queen Mary Falls. Stop for a moment to take in the stunning view from Carr’s Lookout – there is an easily accessible carpark available near the lookout. A sign board tells the history of a 1955 plane crash on Mt Superbus, the wreckage of which is still there. The Condamine River head waters are also visible, which runs on into the Murray-Darling river system. The lookout is located directly next to Spring Creek Mountain Cafe and Cottages.
Carr’s Lookout forms part of the Falls Drive, which also takes you past Queen Mary Falls, Brown’s Falls and Dagg’s Falls.
