Dorrigo Rainforest Centre

Highlights

Learn about the National Park's flora and fauna in the intriguing education area at the Dorrigo National Park Rainforest Centre. The centre provides information, a shop, an exhibition and cafe. An interactive display guides visitors of all ages through different aspects of this World Heritage-listed rainforest, and staff can provide detailed information on National Parks throughout north-east NSW.

Dorrigo National Park provides everyone, even those who are wheelchair-bound, the opportunity to experience the unique rainforest environment. The Rainforest Centre has an educational interpretation centre. From here you can take a stroll on the popular Skywalk walkway and lookout platform over the escarpment edge for a close up view of the rainforest canopy. The boardwalk takes you over the top of the rainforest canopy, providing magnificent views over the rainforest, down to the Bellinger Valley and sometimes as far as the Pacific Ocean.
