Hervey Bay’s Ultimate Whale Watch - we advocate for healthy oceans - join us on board and become an ocean advocate too! A Tourism Australia Signature Experience, Best of Queensland experience and the only whale watch on the Fraser Coast based on over 40 years of whale research in Hervey Bay. Proceeds support research, conservation and outreach projects.

- Led by Scientists who provide expert interpretation of the amazing whale behaviours you'll encounter.
- Listen to live whale songs with underwater hydrophones and learn the latest whale facts and findings. Ticket prices includes a cold drink and small snack.

Cruise on Ocean Defender
- You'll cruise in comfort on Hervey Bay's purpose-built wildlife and whale watching vessel Ocean Defender with a maximum of 38 passengers. Enjoy a smooth ride with panoramic water-level "whale's eye" views from forward-facing seats offering plenty of shade.
- There's also plenty of room on this small-group tour with excellent photo opportunities and the convenience of a toilet onboard. Ocean Defender follows all regulations for whale protection including our own "Be Whale Aware" guidelines.
