Nestled among sweeping valley views and majestic mountain scenery, Kallarroo Cottage embodies the timeless charm of a 1950s fishing/ski lodge. Here, guests can savor an authentic taste of traditional Australian farm life while immersing themselves in the tranquility of the countryside. This secluded log cabin comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests across two levels. The ground floor features an open-plan kitchen/dining area, bathroom, and spacious living room with a double bed. Upstairs, two bedrooms offer stunning views, with one double bed and one single bed, all equipped with fresh linen for your comfort. Ideal for families, small groups, and couples seeking a tranquil retreat amidst breathtaking surroundings. Our cabin's kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a fridge, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine. Essential cookware and dishes are provided for your convenience. The expansive dining area comfortably seats eight guests, with a high chair and cot available for families. For added ambiance, the living area features an inviting open fireplace, while a woodfired heater in the kitchen space ensures a cosy atmosphere. We provide everything you need to light a fire on site, including wood, lighter, and kindling. Please remember to pack warm clothing if you plan to stay during the cooler months, as it can get chilly in winter.​After adventurous days exploring the countryside through bushwalks, kayaking down the Numeralla River, fishing or hitting the slopes in the Snowy Mountains, relax indoors by the wood-burning fireplace or on the cosy sofa, where Netflix, books, games, and toys await your entertainment.​Outside, indulge in the wood-fired hot tub with stunning views, or unwind on the front porch while watching our animals graze nearby. As evening descends, gather around the fire pit for marshmallow roasting or utilize the barbecue for a delightful dining experience.

Kallarroo is located near Nimmitabel outside of Cooma, New South Wales. Set near the Numeralla River, between two national parks, short distance to the famous and beautiful Snowy Mountains. With 1000 acres of the rolling country- including native forest, park-like grazing land, and three kilometers Numeralla River frontage- there's a lot to do at Kallarroo! Outside the cottage, guests can enjoy drinks on the front porch and watch the sunrise/sunset over the valley and mountains, sit back and watch the horses and highlander cows outside your door. In the evenings, you can roast marshmallows around the fire pit, roast the meat on the spit roaster or cook dinner on a barbecue. Guests needn't want for anything during their stay, with all the modern conveniences. The cottage includes cable/satellite, washing machine and dryer. All provided to make your time here easy, relaxing and most off all - enjoyable.
