Lake Somerset provides a great variety of recreational facilities, along with being a part of south east Queensland’s water grid that supplies the region’s drinking water. Enjoy the day use areas at Kirkleagh, The Spit and Somerset Park. Designated swimming areas are located at Kirkleagh and The Spit.
Motorised and non-motorised watercraft are allowed on the lake including water skiing, jet skiing, wakeboarding and tubing. Don't forget to grab your boating and fishing permits before heading out or dropping a line.
