Newland Head Conservation Park

The Newland Head Conservation Park is a bucket list destination located on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, popular for fishing, surfing and camping. The park protects two long beaches, Waitpinga and Parsons, as well as rocky headlands and surrounding coastal vegetation.

Follow the walking trails along the rolling hills and rugged cliffs which provide panoramic views of the Waitpinga Creek, Encounter Bay, the Pages in Backstairs Passage and Kangaroo Island. After a day of beach fishing, set up camp at Waitpinga Campground and enjoy the distant sound of waves rolling onto the beach.

Vehicle entry to this park is free, however fees apply for camping.
