1 Hour private horse riding lesson for all ages and abilities. Just you, your hours/pony and your instructor
Our Australian Stockhorses and our wonderful "Pink Ladies" are kind, patient and helpful.
Horses are Good for the Soul and we love to help people to build self confidence, face their fears and do it anyway and learn to safely ride a horse and above all have a bunch of FUN.
One of our experienced instructors will teach you exclusively for 1 hour building the lesson around your ability, confidence and experience levels. With horses and ponies to suit any rider our lessons are perfect for riders of all and no previous experience, from those just starting their riding journey, for a once off lesson or those wishing to brush up on technique and progress their riding further
No riding experience required.
Medium level of fitness is required.
Please note our weight limit is 110kg and minimum age in lessons will be 4 years old.
Inclusions:
- 1 hour private lesson with a Pink Lady Instructor in one of our lesson areas
- Jarrahdale Equestrian Horse and all tack
- Riders Helmet (compulsory to be worn)
- Water or refreshments
- Clothing / materials for the elements (e.g hats, sunscreen, rain coat)
What to bring:
- In all seasons please bring a water bottle for during and after the lesson.
- All riders are to come dressed to ride, wearing full length pants (jeans or leggings) and closed in shoes with a slight heel and a smooth sole, sneakers will be suitable.
- T-shirts or longer sleeves - Singlets or shorts are NOT safe to ride in.
- If wearing incorrect attire you will not be permitted to ride and your ride will be cancelled, with no refund applicable.
Please prepare for the weather
- bring a raincoat in the winter
- sunscreen and light long sleeve shirt to protect from the sun in summer
- water bottle
Itinerary:
While all lessons are different and created around each rider, as a general idea:
- Arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your ride
- Meet your Instructor and Horse
- Horses may be tacked up or this may be included in your lesson
- Mount up and complete warm up
- Instructors will tailor the lessons exercises to your ability, confidence designed to develop your riding further, build confidence and technique.
- Warm down walk out through the fields.
- Final pats and goodbyes to your horse and instructor

Check-in details
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your ride.
- It is compulsory for all riders to complete our insurance form - this can be completed online prior to your ride through the link in your booking confirmation email or through the "Register" tab on our website - Please use this Link
- Alternatively leave yourself extra time and completed the form here at the office/stables.
Special requirements
- A parent of guardian must remain on the property while children are riding.
- Photos and videos will be used on social media and our promotional material unless you otherwise advise us prior to your lesson.
Restrictions
- Horse riding is considered a high risk activity so those Pregnant will not be permitted to ride- no exceptions and no refunds offered.
- Wearing Helmets is Compulsory - no exceptions and no refunds offered.
- No dogs or outside animals are permitted on the property at any time.
Health & Safety
- Riders are only to enter horse areas including the stables under the supervision of a Pink Lady Instructor.
- All spectators are to remain in the provided seating area.
Disclaimers
All rides are non-refundable.
- Our rides will start on time and be limited to the session you have booked so we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early for all session. If arriving late your session will not be extended and you will be cutting into your ride time. No refund will be applicable for shorter sessions.
- We ride in all weather and please understand that all bookings are non refundable and we require 24hrs notice for rescheduling otherwise full fare is due.
