A 60 minute Red Baron TOP GUN Experience for Two is a must-do Aussie Bucket List experience for all adrenaline junkies travelling to Sydney, Australia. 

Live the THRILL as you experience formation and aerobatic flight together. Have you ever wondered what it was like to be in a one-on-one aerial dogfight? You will be flying in close military-style formation, near enough to see the ear-to-ear smiles on each other's faces, then get ready as you chase each other down during aerial combat!

While aerobatic manoeuvres are all fun and games today, don't forget they developed out of the serious business of aerial combat, where fighter pilots perform these complicated aerial moves to avoid being shot down in dog fights. Experience it for yourself as you and your wingman take turns chasing each other through the skies.

Fly in the EXTREME Extra 330LX Stunt Plane (the only of its kind in Australia) and the classic Red Baron Open Cockpit Biplane, the Pitts Special.

Experience manoeuvres like Military style formation flying, Aerial dogfighting, Loop the Loop, Barrel rolls, Aileron rolls, Snap rolls, Spins, Hammerheads, Inverted flight and MORE!

The Top Gun Experience lasts 60 minutes with 30 minutes of flight time. This includes:

• Access to the Red Baron flight lounge

• Get suited up in a Pilots Flight uniform (flight suit)
• Pre-flight mission briefing with your pilots 
• Photo opportunities with the aircraft & friends/family

• Flight time: 30 minutes (for two, one person in each aeroplane)

YOUR MISSION BRIEF:

Upon your arrival at Red Baron Hangar, you will both be checked in by one of our friendly flight hosts. While you are getting ready any accompanying friends and family will relax in our comfortable flight lounge, enjoying complimentary tea & coffee. When ready for departure you both will climb into a pilot's flight-suits and prepare to board. You will then meet your pilots and join them for the essential pre-flight mission briefing. Once complete your pilots will strap you securely into the cockpit and fasten your headset. 

There will be plenty of time for your family and friends to take photographs of you as you prepare for your flight. When you are secure, your pilot will prepare the plane for take-off. You'll be able to hear all the calls to air traffic control and speak to your pilot through the intercom.

You and your wingman will take off side by side in formation and head out together for the ultimate experience. Once airborne you'll head west towards the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. Over St Mary's you'll climb to 3500ft-4000ft. When ready your pilots will start the aerial dogfight. Your pilots will take turns chasing each other down and completing all sorts of aerobatic manoeuvres to avoid each other! 

Experience manoeuvres like Military style formation flying, Aerial dogfighting, Loop the Loop, Barrel rolls, Aileron rolls, Snap rolls, Spins, Hammerheads, Inverted flight and MORE!

On completion, you will break away for a more extreme individual aerobatics sequence. Once your individual aerobatics are complete you will rejoin the formation and head back to base for a formation landing.
