Overview

Highlights

Stockton Lake is a must-see bucket list attraction located near Collie in Western Australia. A popular place for picnics and camping.

Stockton Lake is an old open-cut mine that has since filled with water, creating a blue colour which changes throughout the year. Please note that swimming is at your own risk and not recommended for people with sensitive skin due to the high acidity levels in the water. There are submerged rocks so diving and jumping into the lake is not recommended.

Camping grounds are available for a fee and bookings are not required. Parks and Wildlife WA request that you bring the correct change with you as there are no change facilities available at the camping grounds. The camp grounds are managed on a first-in, first-served basis.

Camp fires are allowed in the dedicated fire-pits only. Check the signage on arrival for up to date information on current conditions and whether fires are allowed.
