Inspired after a family trip to New Zealand in 2005, the idea of Yallingup Maze was born. We wanted to give families fun activities to do in Margaret River that challenged & connect them.
Allow yourselves a few hours to experience Yallingup Maze & Mini Golf.
So many things to do all in the one place.
Challenge yourselves with the maze.
- Play 18 holes of Mini Golf.
- Take a break and play some amazing wooden puzzles.
- Grab a bite to eat or a freshly ground coffee from our café.
- Send the kids into the maze whilst you relax on the deck.
- It’s a great place to lose the kids or engage the family over a mind-bending puzzle.
EVER CHANGING MAZE
Keeping things interesting.
- The timber panels are reconfigured to a completely different maze 4 times a year. We like to keep you guessing. There is painted artwork to selected panels and a series of questions for our younger maze goers.
YOUR GOAL
- The aim of the maze is to navigate through pathways, underpasses and bridges to find the four corner towers.
There are 4 different levels of challenge depending on how you are feeling and who you are with:
Easy: Find one or two corner towers
Medium: Find all 4 corner towers in any order
Hard: Find all corner towers in numerical order 1 – 2 – 3 – 4
Extra Hard: Find all corner towers in numerical order without using the bridges
- 40 x 60 metres in area
- 5 towers
- 4 inter linking bridges
- 5 set of stairs
- 1.6kms of winding passageways
- 550 timber panels – many interchangeable
- 2m high maze walls
- Emergency exit from central bridge
- Pram & wheelchair friendly
- Average time to complete is 30 minutes
- Sorry, your fur babies will not be able to join in this activity. This attraction is not pet-friendly.
Important Information
Guidelines
4 and under
- The maze, 4 years & under go free and there is an emergency exit should someone need to go to the toilet! Hidden murals to be found along the way. Have fun even if you just find one tower.
- Fun educational games to develop hand eye coordination and early problem-solving skills. You can find these games free to play on our café tables.
- The nature playground is all about creativity and imagination.
- Develop balancing skills on the log maze.
Enjoy a baby cino or a milkshake in our puzzle cafe.
6 – 12 year olds
- Come on an adventure to find the 4 corner towers of the maze. You can find the towers in any order if you like and test your memory whilst you are at it.
- Great selection of problem solving and logical thinking games for this age group. Also, many fun card games. Try them out in our café for free.
- Arrow and counting mazes to figure out
- Walk the timber stepping stones and climb the bendy tree in the nature playground
- Still have energy? Full sized soccer goals await you!
For Teens
- Use your intuition and develop your navigational skills when you attempt the maze. The hardest challenge is to complete the 4 corner towers in numerical order. Tower 1,2,3 then 4.
- Find the optical illusions that are hidden in the maze.
- Play 18 holes of mini golf on a course that has an easier and harder hole on each green.
- Huge selection of brain teasers and mind bending puzzles to test the smartest teenager! Popular board games that adopt lateral thinking and strategy. A great range of games that are hilarious and fun.
